AI-Powered LinkedIn Engagement Automator with Human Review & Multilingual Support
Automate authentic LinkedIn engagement with AI and Telegram. Generate, review, and post multilingual comments and reactions in seconds.
By Nayma Sultana

Let's be honest. You know you should be more active on LinkedIn. You see posts from industry leaders, innovative thinkers, and potential collaborators. You want to engage, build relationships, show up consistently. But here's the problem: crafting thoughtful, authentic comments takes time. And you don't have much of it.
What if you could automate LinkedIn engagement without sounding like a bot? What if an AI could read posts, understand their tone, draft personalized comments, and even suggest the right reaction, all while you maintain complete control over what gets published?
This n8n workflow does exactly that. It's a smart LinkedIn engagement system triggered by a simple Telegram message. Send a LinkedIn post URL, and within seconds, you'll receive an AI-generated comment and reaction ready for your approval. One click, and it's posted. No context switching, no writer's block, just consistent, professional engagement.
What You'll Need to Get Started
Before diving into the workflow, make sure you have access to these services:
- n8n: Your automation platform (cloud or self-hosted)
- Telegram: For triggering the workflow and approving comments
- OpenAI API: Powers the AI models (GPT-4o-mini and GPT-4.1-mini)
- Unipile API: Connects to LinkedIn for fetching and posting content
The workflow uses several n8n nodes that work together seamlessly. The key components include the Telegram Trigger, HTTP Request nodes for API calls, LangChain AI agents for intelligent processing, structured output parsers for clean data extraction, and conditional logic nodes for approval workflows. Each plays a specific role in transforming a simple URL into a polished LinkedIn comment.
How the Workflow Actually Works
Here's the beauty of this automation. It handles everything from URL to published comment in six intelligent steps.
Step 1: Trigger the Magic with Telegram
The workflow starts when you send a LinkedIn post URL to your Telegram bot. This is your control center. No need to open n8n, no need to switch between apps. Just paste the URL and let the system take over.

Behind the scenes, the workflow immediately verifies your user ID. This security check ensures only authorized users can trigger the automation. Once verified, your configuration settings load automatically, including your Unipile API credentials and account details.
Step 2: Extract the Post ID
LinkedIn URLs can be messy. They contain tracking parameters, session tokens, and other unnecessary data. The workflow uses an AI agent powered by GPT-4o-mini to intelligently extract just the post ID. This agent is specifically prompted to look for hyphens and identify the unique identifier that LinkedIn uses for each post.

The structured output parser ensures the extracted ID comes back in a clean, usable format. No manual parsing, no regex headaches, just reliable extraction every time.
Step 3: Fetch and Analyze the Post
With the post ID in hand, the workflow calls the Unipile API to retrieve the complete post content. This includes the text, author information, and metadata. But raw content isn't enough. The system needs context.

That's where the language and mood detection node comes in. Another AI agent analyzes the post to determine two critical factors: the language being used and the overall mood or tone. Is it enthusiastic? Reflective? Critical? Formal? This analysis is crucial because your comment needs to match the energy of the original post.
Step 4: Choose the Right Reaction
LinkedIn offers six reaction types: like, celebrate, support, love, insightful, and funny. Choosing the right one matters. A "funny" reaction on a serious industry analysis looks tone-deaf. A simple "like" on a major career announcement feels underwhelming.

The workflow includes a dedicated AI agent trained to select the most appropriate reaction based on the post's content and tone. The system prompt specifically notes that "insightful" should be used sparingly, only for truly exceptional content. This attention to detail keeps your engagement authentic.
Step 5: Generate a Personalized Comment
This is where the workflow really shines. The comment generation node takes everything learned so far and crafts a response that sounds like you. It follows a detailed set of guidelines that you customize to match your professional persona.
The system prompt includes your role, your experience level, and your engagement style. For example, if you're a technical innovation driver exploring AI applications for SMEs, the comments reflect that perspective. The AI is instructed to write in the detected language, match the determined mood, and stay within a specific length (typically 2 to 4 sentences).

What makes these comments valuable is their structure. They're not generic praise. Each comment either asks a thoughtful follow-up question, adds practical value from your professional perspective, or shares a relevant observation. And every comment ends with a personalized question directed at the post author by name, encouraging genuine conversation.
The workflow even handles special formatting. It automatically replaces a placeholder "NAME" with the actual author's name and formats it correctly for LinkedIn's mention system. No emojis, no hyphens, no marketing speak. Just professional, conversational engagement.
Step 6: Approve and Post
Here's the safety net. Before anything goes live, the workflow sends the generated comment and selected reaction back to you via Telegram. You see exactly what will be posted. You can approve it with one tap or reject it and try again.
This approval gate is essential. It keeps you in control while eliminating the heavy lifting. You're not starting from scratch, you're just giving final approval to content that's already 95% ready.
Once you approve, the workflow springs into action. It posts your comment to LinkedIn using the Unipile API, properly mentioning the author. Then it adds your selected reaction. Both actions happen automatically, within seconds.
Why This Workflow Changes the Game
The real value of this automation isn't just saved time, though you'll save plenty. It's consistency. Most professionals know they should engage more on LinkedIn, but they don't because it feels like work. This workflow removes that friction.
You can engage with industry content during your commute, between meetings, or while waiting for coffee. The quality stays high because the AI is working from a detailed prompt that encodes your expertise and voice. Your network sees consistent, thoughtful engagement without you spending 20 minutes per comment.
For busy professionals, consultants, founders, or anyone building a personal brand, this workflow solves a real problem. You maintain visibility and build relationships without LinkedIn becoming a part-time job.
The workflow is also flexible. You can adjust the comment length, modify the tone, change the reaction selection criteria, or add additional approval steps. It's a framework that adapts to your exact needs.
Ready to Automate Your LinkedIn Presence
Building this workflow takes about 30 minutes if you have your API keys ready. The return on investment is immediate. From day one, you'll engage more, stress less, and maintain the authentic voice that makes professional networking worthwhile.
This isn't about gaming LinkedIn or posting hollow comments. It's about using AI as a thought partner that helps you show up consistently and meaningfully. The technology handles the repetitive work. You handle the strategy and relationships.
Your LinkedIn network won't know the difference. They'll just notice you're more present, more engaged, and somehow always have something valuable to add to the conversation.
